WHY YOGA?
The ancient Indian practice of yoga needs no introduction. But your own individual journey into the practice of all 8 limbs of yoga? Well, that’s where it gets interesting…
How often do you stop? Pause directly in the middle of what you are doing and listen. Amidst the noise and chaos, just actually listen?
This is yoga. The unity between mind, body and soul. A sacred and safe space that belongs to you and only you. The softly spoken internal voice that has always been present, except now you are choosing to listen. The going can be tough, with our demanding egos placing difficult obstacles in our path. Distracting us with a constant white noise, the emotional turmoil of our daily lives, teetering on the edge between frustration and release, anxiety and calmness, sadness and overwhelming joy at every moment.
Mostly we start with the physical practice: Asana. To get rid of those computer shoulders, work stress, to feel fitter and more positive within ourselves. Then perhaps a shift – we start to move with the breath, noticing a change within, a dislodging of physical and emotional blockages, ultimately leading to the beginning of your own inward journey.
